CSR / Cashier
The Customer Service Associate provides excellent customer service and customer satisfactions by following the policies, procedures and guidelines of the GasMart USA.
Accountabilities
- Smiles and greets every customer in a friendly manner, meeting their needs to their total satisfaction
- Follows all GasMart USA safety and security policies to minimize health and safety hazards
- Assists the Manager and Assistant Manager in maintaining the buildings, equipment and grounds to the standards established by GasMart USA.
- Follows policies and procedures to prevent loss of cash and merchandise from actions by other employees, customers and vendors.
Essential Job Functions
- Provides Excellent Customer Service
- Follows all safety and emergency procedures and safe work practices
- Watches for Security violations
- Prices, stocks, rotates and counts merchandise
- Cleans Shelves, pump islands, restrooms, car wash facilities, and other areas designated by management
- Prepares Reconciles shift reports and other reports as assigned by supervisor
- Attends customer service training
Minimum Formal Education and Experience Required
High School graduate or equivalent preferred. Experience in Retail, including direct customer contact, desired. Must have passed company screening procedures for new-hires.
Skill Requirements
- Ability to communicate clearly with customers
- Ability to perform minimum mathematical skills, such as counting merchandise, giving change etc.

Assistant Manager
The Assistant manager assists in the management of the GasMart USA retail outlet within the policies and guidelines of the company to ensure customer satisfaction and profit maximization.
Accountabilities
- Assists the manager in assuring that customers are treated in an excellent manner and needs are met to their total satisfaction
- Assists the manager in controlling day to day operations by scheduling work, ordering merchandise, and training and developing the other retail outlet employees.
- Assists the manager in ensuring the company safety and security policies are met to minimize health and safety hazards, unsafe behavior and workers compensation claims.
- Assists the manager in controlling profit and loss by following cash control/security procedures, preventing inventory and cash loss and by efficient us of station personnel.
- Assists the manager in recruiting and hiring personnel, and taking corrective and disciplinary actions in motivating and training all consistent with GasMart USA policy and procedures.
- Assists the manager in timely and complete execution of GasMart USA marketing programs
- Responsible for overall store operations in absence of Manager

Minimum Formal Education and Experience Required
High school graduate or equivalent certification or experience, retail management or supervision is desired. Must successfully complete all Customer Service Associate and Assistant Manager Programs and job functions thereof.
